    I LOVE THIS... ENJOY

      "MAYA ANGELOUS" BEST POEM EVER

           A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...
enough money within her control to move out and rent a place of her own,
even if she never wants to or needs to...

                   A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

something perfect to wear if the employer,
or       date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...

                    A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

a youth she's content to leave behind....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ..
a past juicy enough that she's looking forward to
retelling it in her old age....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....

a set of screwdrivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE
one friend who always makes her laugh... and one who lets her cry...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

a good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ..

eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal, that will make her guests feel honored...

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ..

a feeling of control over her destiny.

 EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

how to fall in love without losing herself.

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

how to quit a job, break up with a lover, and confront a friend without ruining the friendship...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

when to try harder... and WHEN TO WALK AWAY...

 EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

that she can't change the length of her calves,
the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

that her childhood may not have been perfect...but its over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

what she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

how to live alone... even if she doesn't like it...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW..

whom she can trust,
whom she can't,
and why she shouldn't take it personally...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

where to go...
be it to her best friend's kitchen table...
or a charming inn in the woods...
when her soul needs soothing...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

what she can and can't accomplish in a day...
a month...and a year...

Just absolutely wonderful,

Thank You!

SO, DANG     CUTE I JUST  HAD TO SHARE...

Four brothers left home for college, and they became
successful doctors and lawyers and prospered.

Some years later, they chatted after having dinner together.

They discussed the gifts they were able to give their elderly mother who
lived far away in another city.

The 1st said, "I had a big house built for Mama."

The 2nd said, "I had a hundred thousand dollar theater built in the
house."

The 3rd said, "I had my Mercedes dealer deliver an SL600 to her."

The 4th said, "You know how Mamma loved reading the Bible and you know she can't read anymore because she can't see very well. I met this
preacher who told me about a parrot that can recite the entire bible. It
took twenty preachers 12 years to teach him. I had to pledge to
contribute $100,000 a year for twenty years to the church, but it was
worth it. Mamma just has to name the chapter and verse and the parrot
will recite it."

The other brothers were impressed.

After the holidays Mama sent out her Thank You notes. She wrote:

"Milton, the house you built is so huge I live in only
one room, but I have to clean the whole house. Thanks
anyway."

"Marvin, I am too old to travel. I stay home; I have
my groceries delivered, so I never use the Mercedes.
The thought was good. Thanks."

"Michael, you gave me and expensive theater with Dolby
sound, it could hold 50 people, but all of my friends are dead, I've
lost my hearing and I'm nearly blind. I'll never use it. Thank you for
the gesture; just the same."

"Dearest Melvin, you were the only son to have the
good sense to give a little thought to your gift. The
chicken was delicious. Thank you."

Luv Ya, Mama
